- Close interlocking of academic studies and vocational training: Three learning locations: public university of applied sciences, vocational school and training company
- No tuition fees: There are no tuition fees at the Cooperative University of Applied Sciences Hamburg
- Remuneration: Hands-on experience and (training) remuneration from the very beginning
- Orientation to five-day workweek: Weekly schedule
- Coaching: Coaching in the first 18 months with renewed opportunity to decide on the further educational path (i.e. achievement of both degrees or – depending on the personal aims – only the vocational training degree or the bachelor's degree)
